My sister, nephew and I share a genetic condition where Lidocaine and other sodium channel blocking analgesia do not work. My sister had refused to return to her old dentist due to the pain she suffered. Dr. Kim used Articaine on me and my sister (a dental amide-type local anesthetic used more in Europe). Therefore, our dental procedures were nearly 100% pain-free. Thank you, Dr. Kim! That is coming from a cranky old nurse who never writes public reviews (RN, MSN). :-D"
